    Door card inserts

After searching for some time I cant find much information on door card inserts. My drivers side is looking quite worn and I was wondering if they are available new or if it is possible to recover them in similar material and where it may be available from. My interior is Alpaca beige and it is a 2004 D2a. Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
From the photo, I can't tell whether your trim is actually worn away or just rather grubby.
But it might be worth trying upholstery cleaner on it, in conjunction with a soft-bristled nail brush and warm water, then dry by pressing (not rubbing) clean towelling onto it.
Otherwise, Triumph-Rover Spares (in Adelaide) may well have a replacement in fair condition, from a dismantled vehicle. They would be well worth a try.

I procured a replacement cubby/dog box for mine by wandering around their yard poking my head into all the vehicles they had.

That was a few years ago so don't know if they still let you do that.

    Google. "Mr steering"
They do steering wheel leather covers, gear boot gaiters, door handle trims and those leather bits in the door card.

Unsure what's involved in replacing them tho.
