Hi, observe carefully, everything else is working then only the courtesy lights dont...that's important, and are you referring only to automatic mode or when the ignition is on you can't switch them on manually either? descibe better the symptom
Hello the cabin light comes on when the door is opened, when the ignition is turned off, but when the switch is moved to the "ON" position, no cabin light.
Now is this a faulty switch that an be cleaned or replaced or something worse, like a BCU issue?
Thanks in advance
Bo

Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
The manual operation is completely independent of ignition, the lamp have direct feed from the fusebox and on manual operation it gets earth through the switch so check there at the switch, or the earth is bad or the switch is not closing
