Hello all
I have got used to driving a manual, after 20 years in an automatic. My wife was not keen on me getting a manual, but my daughter wants to learn in a manual, so win win. I leave the car with the parking brake on as I kept tryng to start the car in gear. I need to go back to parking in gear, as I remember something from years ago about stretching the handbrake cable. And I have not stalled the car for almost 2 weeks and my starts are really smooth, most of the time.
Yesterday I saw a puddle of coolant under the car, looks like leaking from the top hose-radiator and the coolant pump. The car is going to Ritters on Saturday to get fixed. I had planned on using the money for a service, but now I guess I'll do the service mty self. I have RAVE and the service checkpoint sheet so I have a bit of reading to do. I also need to get filters, oils, and a torque wrench and a few other bits and pieces.
