Don't forget people, with the larger tyre sizes it's not just your Speedo that under-reads, your odometer does too
In my auto with 245/70/16s, not running quite right and a few hundred km of uhh...fast paced....driving... I returned 714kms and crammed 90L into the tank...

Yes railey and i have discussed this , on my d1 with 265/75's both are 10% above factory . Factory is approx. 5% under so now its 5% over as checked with GPS - 100 indicated, 105 actual.
On thd d2 railey is 10 % out as checked with GPS.

Yes I run 245/75/16 - 31 inch compared to the stock Michy XPC 29.5. Slows down the odo's version of ageing... I add 10% back to my odo fuel figures to allow for it.

    Cheers

As you all might know I have a bull bar coming, should be here in the next few weeks. In preparation for this I thought I'd remove the existing bumper, then thought I might as well take the lower bar off and get it powder coated as it has surface rust, then I thought I'll get the tow hitch done as well, then I thought stuff it I'll get the complete front bar done as well! Also removed the grill as I've bought a new (old) one from a member on here, going to get the complete grill painted blue, reckon it will look good!

245 70 16s are for all intents the same rolling radius as 235 70 16s, the d2 factory fitment. The only diff is the width, which may account for increased fuel, pushing more rubber along the tar The 70, 75,80,85 etc referes to the aspect, ie height 'tween rim and road. That is what alters speedos.

    I'm aware of this
Was referring to the 235/85 or 265/75 size.
