Thread: Just bought a D2

    Well picked her up today, very happy with it.
    Couple of things I didn't know the car included or the seller was leaving!
    Electronic brake system
    6 disc CD under the seat
    two lockable thule roof bars
    CB radio
    Its been chipped!

    Few things that need sorting:
    Dash pod come out, think there are two screws missing at the bottom where the steering column moves.
    Bloody good clean and polish
    Rear wiper blade knackered


    Really happy with it and am about to have a good read of the owners manual, I'll give her a good going over at the weekend and post some pictures.

    I know!


    Gave it a steam clean at work, we've got a high powered steam cleaner that get bloody hot, ideal to turn the plastics back to black (bit of a tip) then gave them a soaking in armorial and left it in the sun for a couple of hours, come up a treat.


    I'll give it a clay bar, cut, polish and seal at the weekend and post some pictures then.


    Very happy with it so far, did over 260km today and she never missed a beat, bit of a vibration in 2nd or 3rd but other than that all good!

    The Pov pack S was without stacker. The dealer upgrade pack for the S was to a better head unit than standard and the stacker...strange but good.

    Here she is, just got to get a Bull Bar sorted out now!
    Fixed the dash, found that the screws had gone through the plastic so got a couple of screws with bigger heads, painted the heads black, job done!


    Come up better than I thought, couple of parking dents but they are going to get taken out on Tuesday!
