Yep - that should do it. Or it may need a long weight added to the float (I am still waiting for mine to be delivered). 😀

When new it seemed fairly accurate, but over time i think it deteriorates (probably need to adjust the float arm but you get used to it).

First time you run it down to the light coming on, fill to full to find out what reserve you have. Anything less than 1/4 always had me looking for a station, and I was filling after 850kms.

Thanks for the tip, I really hope I get around 900-1000km!
It's going to make a change from my little VW UP which did around 4ltr/100!
Loving everything about the car, feels great for. 14 year old motor!

Got 870km out of it at the weekend, 3 hours highway drive at a average 100km/h then over to Frasier for a couple of days, then back home, can't grumble with that really. Had the wife and three kids, a load of weekend away gear including a bloody big fridge!

Nice. I'm lucky to get about 600km out of a tank on mine....

And what size tyres are you running ?
I can get over 900 to a tank with my standard tyres but when i put the 265/75/ muddies on and im lucky to get 600 to a tank
