    Plugs Next to Bonnet Hinges

    I've just bought a D2 and having a look around I found these 2 plugs under the bonnet next to the hinges. One has nothing in it the other has a really warn out filter on it. What's supposed to be there?

    The other thing is there is a oil tank labelled ACE but the car isn't equipped with ACE. What's it for?

    Heated front screen is the two electric fittings.

    ACE and Pas reservoir are common and a blank removed when fitted.

    Sweet thanks. So then I don't have a heated screen. I don't have ACE but damn it takes the corners well.

    Not half as good as with ACE

    If the res has two caps,, it has ACE.

    There are 2 caps. Friend told me the pump is under the passenger front door in a cradle on the chassis, there's nothing there though, just an empty cradle.

    That is the pump for rear air suspension. The ACE pump is on the engine and driven by the serpintine belt. It is a bigger version off apower steer pump
