    33's will rub with a 2" lift.

265/75-16 or 235/85-16, both of which are roughly 32" are about the limits.

Just standard rims. 15" if you can even get them wont go over the brakes although no doubt there will be an exception somewhere.

You can fit 33s but they will rub.
32s are really as big as you can go unless you want to start going for bigger lifts or guard chops.
The D2 is very capable on 32s, give it a go

If you give your inner guards a very mild trim (pm MR LR) you'll be right. There may be some very mild rubbing up front but some steering stop adjustment can sort this.

I run 265/75 R16's (cooper STT's and now ST's) on a 2" ARB OME lift and no rubbing issues (steering stops adjusted) but reduced turning circle is noticeable. i met a guy who was running 285/75 R16 BFG muddies on a 2" lift and was fine (apparently). I am thinking of getting 245/75 R16's next because the 265's i suspect are the cause of an increase in fuel consumption possibly

some 32's will rub, mainly if your pushing the friendship for the stock rim width and have big side biters. usually only approaching full flex or steering lock

most 33's will rub some narrow ones can be snuck in but will still rub at full flex/lock

2 inch lift over a wisely slected and inflated set of 32s will get a disco some vry very impressive places if you can steer it right.
