Thread: Wet headliner, leaking roof?

Look up Land Rover Discovery Series 2 Tech Bulletin No: 0117 CDS Ref:L8861bu this is a fix for "WATER INGRESS - WET HEADLINING, Water may enter the 'A' post upper corners and exhibit anywhere along the windscreen."

It may be your problem.

I've found the rivets vis ebay, but no sign of the sealant LRN934
Are there alternatives?

Just happened to brush the roof lining with my hand the other morning and it was wet. It's at the edge of the drivers A pillar, in front of the grab handle. it hasn't rained for a couple of days, only heavy morning dew, so that surprised me even more. I did find water under the carpet a while ago when running wires and thought it was a blocked aircon drain but maybe it wasn't.
The roof bar is tight and doesn't move.
Is it likely to be the seal under the roof bar or the top of the windscreen that is leaking?
