    Discovery 2stereo upgrade

Hi guy, after much serching and not being able to find relevent infomation, i keep coming across this site and hopefully you can help me. I know this has been dealt with before but you guys are my last hope
I have a landrover discovery 2 1998 ES with the Harmom Kardon high stereo, i have replaced the stereo with a "kenwood kdc-x7000dab"
Now everything works, stalk controls ect ect, but i dont think it sounds as good as it should.
this is the wires that im using "https://incartec.co.uk/landrover/1343/1033/2047/165/Browser.aspx"
The problem i have is there is a hissing coming from the speakers, wasnt there before the HU swap.
I have turned all the gains down on the amplifier integration interface, and whilst its still there its barely noticable.
But if i remove the amplifier integration interface wiring it sounds so much better and how i would expect it to, but the hissing is terrible.

Every time I try and investigate this I come across this website and this thread,

    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...placement.html
Which seems to suggest the the RCAs connect to the C0092 connection plug,

Please can someone help me, otherwise I will have to go to an expert and admit defeat

    BTW I'm in the UK

    Cheers Neil

Most amps have an earth loop in them if you have put youth RCA plugs in the wrong connections this will destroy the earth loop and give you a whine or a hissing noise from your speakers. If you have fitted every thing correctly then you can get from a good auto electrician a noise reducer that plugs between the amp and radio hope this helps.

The factory amp connects to the RCA pre-outs at the new HU via the C0092. Dont use the new HU speaker outputs

Have you done this? I only ask as when I fitted a new head unit it looked to me the factory amp ran from the high level outputs of the stock head unit. So I connected the new head units speaker outputs to the amp. It's been running like that for a couple of years now.

I did originally try the high level/speaker outputs to connect the amp and found really muffulled sound. Then tried the RCA outputs .
The lower voltage of the low level(RCA) outputs should make the any humming less likely?
May be yours would sound even better with the low level outputs?
