MIL Lamp drive and Glow Plug drive

Ran through the Nanocom error check today, and got 2 as follows:

(14,6) mil lamp drive open load
(14,7) glow plug drive open load

I have done some searching on the web, and found lists of the error codes all over the place. What I wasn't able to find was what caused these errors - is anyone able to help with any info? The only thing I read was that it may be caused by oil in the loom - is that right?

Thank in advance for your time.

Maybe ... However, clear the faults, drive the car for a while, then recheck for errors. If they reoccur then time to dig deeper

Sometimes the D2 can throw fault codes for no other reason than it can ! Mine came with 4x ECU faults shown, that once cleared haven't returned in 6 yrs.

Quite possibly oil in the loom , as fluids says , clear faults and recheck after a while , but also check the connections on the glow plugs

IMO oil in the red plug would not trigger those fault codes cos both are related to outputs through the black plug, give some contact spray in the black plug, the pins for these outputs are 6(MIL) and 30(glow plug warning) which are on the same row if you'll watch the pin disposals of C0658, the 14.7 fault code is not about the glow plug relay but about the dash light

can you see the glow plug warning on cold start?, to check the MIL run a 5 throttle purging sequence to see if it's flashing or not cos the self test is managed by the IDM without ECU involvment so that's irrelevant
