    fitting mudpod

Hey guys, can anyone share how you secured your mudpod to the dash, the tabs on the plate won't bend inside the space, didn't really want to drill holes in top thru the dashboard

    cheers

Hi Ken. On the assumption you are going to leave the Mudpod in, drilling 2 holes is minor - and makes mods/repairs simple.
I actually set mine a little closer to the windscreen to retain full benefit of the rubber pencil tray on the dash. Some also drill a few holes in the lower part of the mudpod to let hot air escape from under, but I've never had an issue, and it gets a bit warm here. Cheers

I used 22mm thick pine blocks glued in the dashtop recess to screw the mounting plate onto.
