Could it be the little fan on the RH of the dash next to the steering column which samples air for temperature for the aircon?
They get clogged up with fluff and need to be cleaned every now and then.

hi, about to take delivery of my D2a tomorrow, but wanted to mention a wind noise that I heard in the car and couldn't work out where it was coming from.
It sounded like just having one air vent open and gradually increasing the fan speed as vehicle speed increased. Seemed to be coming from the right front of the dash board. No sound until got up to about 15-20kph, then started to build up. Couldn't feel any air coming from any where it shouldn't.
Does this sound like external A-pillar trim, window seals or something like that?

I think I used to have something similar, mine ended up being one of the black pieces of black plastic down the sides of the windscreen(outside) coming off.
Check out the attachments, maybe it's one of those cases

They were all downloadable here LAND ROVER CLUB V.I. - Home under "DII documents" some time ago but now it seems that something was restricted cos too few are accessible as it redirects you to something else

Thanks all, turned out to be quite simple, 2 of the 3 plastic "rivets" fitting the a-pillar were missing. Replaced the and noise gone.
