Who makes the BEST td5 intercoolers?

As the title says... I'm looking for an IC upgrade, if I'm going to spend the money, I want the best performing unit I can get!

Need to put a lid on this boiler!

Stage 2 mapped td5 that will be getting a VNT in due course...

    So what should it be?

Hpd (old ase auto sport engineering ) are making some good ones and are a local oroduct. Fitted a few into defenders and discos. Never any fitting probs and certainlt look like the core flows well. Of course there are some amazing core profiles and tank designs out of japan etc but you'd need to see if one would fit the front of the disco....

Yeah the ASE/HPD ones seem the goods... but before taking the plung I thought I'd better ask, who knows if there's something better on the shelf!

IRB and Allisport are well spoken of...

Then there is custom... But time... And how much better could it really be?

Have no idea where PWR and ARE fall in terms of 'best', but at least they are Oz made using Oz made cores.

I'm still undecided what "best" means,,
    best quality of manufacture?
    best flow speed?
    best temperature conversion?
    best fit in original hole?

I said "best performance", which IMO translates to best temperature drop and flow...

I doubt there is an accurate answer to your question as I'm not aware of anyone conducting back to back comparison tests on the offerings.

I think that I'm running a Serck Motorsport unit myself.
