Chimes and alarm?

(Car obviously still has a power drain, and a death wish.)
Has sat for 4 or 5 days now from fully charged,
unlock doors , turn ignition to on and I get ignition lights and FIVE (sls)chimes with funny symbol where gear designator should be on dash next to odometer, turn key to crank, get only a click and ALARM starts.
click of the fob and the alarm stops.
wtf?

Hi, post #7 in that thread is the answer, meanwhile my statistic changed a bit cos it became around 70% BCU and 30% IDM

some more infos here: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rov.../#post-3129422 in your case seems more likely the BCU due to the alarm thing, it has various behaviours but be aware it can become worst and end up completely immobilised

yea, couldve been a crossed B ,, maybe.

so did the flat battery cause the BCU to lose signal,
or BCU failure cause the flat battery?

Usually that symbol is a sign of BCU or IDM failure and it's not caused by flat battery and yes if there is a problem with one of these there can be a battery drain too

Is there a test for the BCU?
This car has not had a windscreen leak since I've owned it, no wet carpets.

and Torque shows
PQ 130, 151, 135, 155 and P1668 which will be the low voltage alarm.
The first 4 are O2 sensor errors?
The sensors are less than 20K old,
I also have a LTFT of 25,,
The good news is they are BOTH 25,, which I think means theres no leaks,,
My ECM is calibrated for the 4.6Maf.
Will the LTFT be a O2 sensor problem or just a out of range problem?
