    Rocker Cover TD5

    Hello everyone.

Today my partner and I are in the process of replacing an oily old injector harness and rocker cover gasket.
In doing this we found a small fracture in the steel edge of the rocker cover.

Is this going to be an issue?? or do I need to buy a new rocker cover??

I have photos but have no idea of how to put photos on here from my computer without a web link.

The rocker cover is cast alloy.
It must have been in for some nasty treatment to be damaged.
Depends where it's cracked and without pics difficult to say, but I would be having a real good look as to what caused the problem first.
It is not a normal issue.
