Land Rover Discovery Series 2 II Diesel Petrol TD5 V8 99 Onward Snorkel KIT | eBay
Hi there!
I'm planning to install a snorkel on my D2. I have some price indications of a Safari (390) and a Sherpa (270).
Yesterday a advertise on gumtree showed up with a Snorkel, much cheaper then al the other. Does anybody has experience with this brand/model?

I have that one on my car and it is just as good as any other.
Mind you if you are not going wading in rivers (as I am not) I am sorry now that I fitted one at all. They IMHO spoil the lines of a good looking car.
It was one of those ideas one has to fit all sorts of crap that Land Rover found unnecessary on the car when built when you get a new toy it is hard to resist fitting such "stuff"
Other than having "Discovery" on mine , it looks exactly the same, down to the cast pieces.
Someone opined that they were copies of early ARB.
I have had mine on 3 years now and as far as I am concerned it is fine.
The only problem with mine is that the slots to tighten the clamp on the head to the body have a secondary purpose as drains for the water rammed into the back of the head, and they were not continued upwards.
A little work with a hacksaw and OK.

G'day, the problem I found with the cheap ones is fittment, template and actual line up were way out, many extra holes were drilled and elongated. On this one I'm gonna try the Sherpa.
