Fair enough. I was curious as to what the mod was. I've got to wire up an IR unit to the steering wheel controls somehow.

My D2 is back in the driveway as I got the Jimny going again for my daughter.
Now where is that D2 list...
* Pull out the front springs and get them re-set to get the right lift
* Finish installing the SLS height controller
* Install the front carpet - assuming I've fixed the water leak!
* Tidy up the aux battery setup in the back
* Install the new brake fluid reservoir and do the extended brake hoses and in doing replace the fluid - easier now I have a Nanocom
* Probably time to change all the oils
...
Service day, air filter, fuel filter, 2x oil filters. Shouldn, t have got underneath! Front auto input shaft leaking, possible rear main leaking but that might be just what is washed down by the fuel regulator leaking again. Replaced as it was peeing everywhere when I got the vehicle, 18monthes and 30, 000kms ago. Must be a seasoned Landrover owner when evertime you drive off you look in the mirror to see if you left a puddle.

Finally had some decent weather to stay dry while I rebuilt starter motor. So I did :D
Finally got a hearing date from VCAT. Seems it's on my birthday. Does that make me feel confident?? How many ways can I spell NO?
If it hadn't been such a good car I would write it off. Like I can afford to do that. I cannot even access the keys to the car ATM. If I could I would part it out and buy something else.
Such fun.
Have you dried your carpets?? D2s will rust under the carpets just from leaks into the car from the A pillar, let alone what you did to it. I know that you were told just to lift the carpets and let it dry, but don't. Take it all out, and dry it properly. That is, if you plan to keep the car. Taking them out is a PITA, but you'd do it if it was a Landcruiser, so do it because it's a Disco. Fact is, it probably needed you to do it already, so now's the time. It was WET. VERY WET.
