I wasn't that convinced that fitting the DBA gear instead of a stock set of pads/rotors would be a good idea But the Guys at Williams in Geraldton specialise in exhausts and brakes (they have been doing this for decades) and as I wanted Heavy duty brakes I went with their recommendation.
This "horse" drank the water.
The rotors are not drilled but they do have half moon shaped grooves in them, I'll get a couple of picks tomorrow.

I have those same pads, but went with the Delios discs. Very similar to yours. Made a big difference to the drilled and slotted I had on before.

What do these 2 wires do? They’re resting on top of the trans. The green 1 is broken and the other is rubbing. No cable protecting. Seems bad, but I don’t know how bad!https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...018/05/231.jpg

One wire does nothing.
The other one goes to the oil pressure switch.
Maybe LR got a bulk purchase of wiring looms which included the second wire.
Yours is still connected correctly, so just put some new corrugated stuff over them.

They would have had protected "convoluted tubing" over them from the factory, but heat and age makes the plastic brittle and crumble.

Thanks guys. I’ll ignore the green one, re-protect & wrap in silicon tape as I’ve got some lying around anyway.

Think I found out where my exhaust whistle was coming from

And found 3 broken studs. Luckily the 1 on the block came out with 2 nuts locked together. Not so lucky for the 2 broken ones in the turbo end of the manifold (insert sad face here)

Should I replace all the studs ‘just in case’?

Yes , replace studs, machine and modify manifold , also check the Welch plug hasn't been leaking , and check its tight.

Theres plenty of threads on here about replacing studs with longer like these HD TD5 Exhaust Manifold Stud Kit
and TD5 Manifold Extended Stud Kit - AlliSport
It might also be time to get the manifold ceramic coated after you have it de-wedded and machined flat?
