Towed one of the many Patrols here to town and back..testing out the repaired tranny torque converter. Amazingly it went well given the steep hills and dead weight of a Patrol on a heavy trailer. Just a slight driveline vibration at one time while slogging up hill...which I put down to driveline angles and the stupid rubber coupling at the back. Of course the re-sealed transfer case is still leaking a little from the deadshaft o ring area😐 oh well...it's a Rover after all!

I love to tow the Nissans especially when passing other Nissan and Yota drivers...they always take a second look😃

Also got a parking ticket on which was written "silver Toyota"

Ha ha what a bunny he/she must be...it clearly says LAND ROVER in big letter across the bonnet which could be confirmed by looking under for oil leaks!

Sent the ticket back to the local council tax agency saying I don't own a silver Toyota.....yet....

Finally got the headliner replaced. Apparently you can't get the velour and foam material anymore. Now a straight felt material that won't fail again. So many curves in the roofliner card that I haven't seen in a few years.
Big shout out Stuart at All Car Interiors at Windsor (Brisbane) for the job.

And on it went.....

Replaced the injector harness and rocker cover gasket today.
New wipers and various cosmetic plugs and fasteners last week and replaced the OE clamps on the fuel cooler with worm drive clamps.
New (good, second hand) washer bottle and installed headlight washers several weeks ago. Because I wanted them.

Oh, and the hose onto the turbo inlet slipped off as I was removing the rocker cover breather today.
God only knows if and how much dust has been ingested.
At least it was found and the clamp tightened.

And I still enjoy driving it, even if it is an auto.
