My car feels like a new car. Sort of. New rear pads and rotors, new front pads, brakes bled, I've bypassed the front right ABS plug/connector, so now I drive alone. The three Amigos have not been seen since Feb 24th and 500 kms. A new radiator so no more coolant leaks and a new audio head. Blue tooth phone and music, yay.

Just chasing oil leaks now, but then, aren't we all?

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

And the old ones spun out by hand.

Woke the car up for my trip to work, at 05:00 today after a week rest for it. It started & I drove to work trouble free! It’s going to be a good day!

Started pulling the crazily exposed second battery out last night.
It's been installed where the air comp would be, but is hanging 2" below the chassis rails! What happened to your Discovery 2 today?
A revised shelf and AGM deep cycle will be going in.

News: Land Rover beats city hall!!

I got confirmation today from the General Manger Kingborough City (sic) Council that the 40 dollar parking infringement notice issued to the "silver toyota" aka the silver land rover (note the very large letters on front of said bonnet your honour) has been withdrawn☺

    Yes...I won..it's gonna be a good day today..might even buy a tatts ticket😎

Oil leaks are gonna cease and the turbo boost lost yesterday is gonna return in full today!!

Wonder how much that stuff up cost the rate/tax payers?? Prolly a couple hungies..mmm

Glad I don't pay rates to that bunch of clowns😃

If you can keep up with the maintenance both regular and preventative your D2 will Always drive like a new car
However looking over the invoices for the work/parts/consumables that have gone into my D2a over the last 3-4 years I could have bought a New car
At least I KNOW that my old girl will still be in good order after another 100k-150k of hard work
