I find it hard to believe we need an ECM to operate a fuel flap,,,, :p
We don't :p however the fuel flap won't open while the engine is running. So I'd say it will have something to do with that.

I was also wondering what it was.

Replaced the front prop shaft. Unfortunately I think I need to replace most of the ACE and related bushes tho. Developed a 'suspension/steering rubber sound when turning & going over a bump.
Replaced MAF and now no boost till 2k rpm. MAF did solve the Batmobile black smoke bombs I was leaving on take off but she now is going to get me run into crossing intersections.
The pursuit of the elusive nil dramas Disco 2 continues.
Have you cleaned the MAP sensor?

New front sway bar d rubbers. 5 minutes to install, no 1" freeplay in the swaybars, and...no annoying clunk when I go around a roundabout!
Put in New MAP & still no good. Maybe Boost Modulator. When I disconnect the MAF the thing has heaps of power again but also blows a lot of black smoke.
