Yeah right, I thought U might have found a supply of new TCs somewhere.
Did you get the TC split and inspected before use?

UHC 000 020 is my installed unit, low compression V8, as they seem a bit less sensitive to kicking down a gear than the high comp ones, but still can be too quick to kickdown for ppl with heavy feet.
UHC 100 230
UHC 100 350
IGG 000 050 are other low comp V8, listed oldest to newest version numbers
The high compression V8 units are
IGG 000 010
IGG 000 040
Just unplug and swapout, will just work with new shift points, no resets or diagnostic tools needed.
Happy birth day to my Disco. The build date was 11-10-2003.
Well the Red Rig got a bit of love over the weekend,
From the donor I swapped out the front pads and rotors as they were both due for replacement. I checked the rears but were fine, I guess they do a lot less work. I also swapped the springs and shocks over, the donor had slightly longer springs but I think still stock (only about 15mm longer, guessing the Red Rigs had sagged after 330.000km) It also had a nice set of shiny red Pedder shocks so they fitted nicely.
While I was there changing the front shocks I managed to snap of the small coolant hose... nothing that a quick tap with a 3/8 BSP and screwing in a barb fitting sealed with JB weld couldn't fix [bigwhistle]
I also changed the diff oil front and rear, definitely a bit of build up of fine particles on the sump plug but it hadn't been changed in about 50,000km so hopefully nothing too concerning.
Drove to work this morning (550km...) never missed a beat, or the 'roo that pulled out in front of me without indicating, no damage to the front bar, sadly the roo not so lucky....
all in all the Rig just keeps trucking along nicely
cheers

In Tank Fuel Pump **** itself @196xxx Kays.
$700 Later it goes again.
Nothing much. A little tidy up. I finally replaced the little globes in the front indicators so I now have those amber sidelights that have never worked since I got the car.
I am also printing up some carling switch holders to go where the ashtray and coin tray live. I'll see how that goes. Could be cool. With any luck they'll look like this:

Make sure to use at least PETG. PLA will distort in a hot vehicle.
