    When I bought my D2 I test drove a couple of the TD5 trucks But the little 4l V8 with auto won me over in the end.
    I have only previously had a couple of petrol 4WD's all the rest have been diesel But the quiet and smooth V8 was too nice to drive over the TD5's.
    The economy of the TD5 engines is impressive though
    You only get one shot at life, Aim well

    2004 D2 "S" V8 auto, with a few Mods gone

    The economy of "some" td5s is impressive. I never get below 12 litres per hundred in mine. Mostly around 13. 😢

    I have ace though which is said to add a litre per hundred.

    Yes mine is ace less and airbag less and not fussed about that stuff as i know how to drive around a corner and if i wanted to float on air i would get a magic carpet

    Installed Speedo Corrector - now off for a nice long drive to check / calibrate.
    Nice to take a break from the never ending drawer project and to a task that is completable in a couple of hours.

    Got some sweet loot from Jaycar carpark sale yesterday - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for $25, Non-gopro waterproof dash/action/adventure cam for $45 and a pack of ten 12 volt LED's that will go somewhere useful for $2.50.

    Oh end of financial year, how my wallet loves thee.
