Not sure. It caught my eye as well and I suspected extractors. Cheers

Same design vibration bellows as the late TD5's.
They are a bit restrictive internally, the braided types are better.

Actually they look better than the TD5 ones which actually narrow down not swage up like those V8 ones.
The TD5 one is a smaller ID than the pipe...What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Only on some later models. Early models were full bore diameter.

    Cleaned headlight lenses

I've put some stuff on the headlight lenses, the yellow slightly opaque finish is gone.
The stuff in question is called Veteran Headlight Polish.
The lenses are gleamingly bright and see through.

    Fitted new Tyres

My D2 does limited kilometres as a 2nd car and is mainly a tow vehicle for a caravan and car trailer. It therefore spends most time on highways and will probably not go "off road". Did 26 years of that in the Army thanks. So I fitted 5 new tyres, Cooper Discoverer SRX. 80,000 kilometres guarenteed. I also returend back to standard factory size. They have proved lighter to steer not as noisy and generally less rock and roll than thos that were fitted. I am happy so far.

Yes that's it. I was a bit suprised at the non abrasive nature of the stuff. I think it is meant to be a self polymerising monomer that fills in the gaps. I don't think that it does polymerise but!
I think toothpaste would go better. or that mild abrasive for cook tops.
