I've just got to change the Shockies and a couple of worn bushes and I'll be set to buy new tyres. I've changed the front steering linkage and put an OME steering dampener on, so a set of OME shocks, the bushes, and tyre shopping we'll go.

Has anyone used tyresales.com.au for tyres?
The KO2 are the new version of the old KO, which you will find will stop being available at some point. Just a note on the BF's while I used to use them up north on my work vehicle and found them to be a really great incredibly tough long lasting tyre. If most of your offroad is going to be sand, there are better options as they offer very little side wall flex, any heavy sand and you will be down to 14psi to get anywhere.

As for Cooper, I've yet to see/hear? any that werent noisy as hell when compared to other brands. Ive had two set personally, one again on the work vehicle up north, Cooper STT max, tough tyre and expected to be loud, then I had a set of their all terrains in a 245/75R16 on a D2, the loudest obnoxious tyre I ever had the displeasure of paying money for.

In a 265/75R16, as its also a "common" tyre size, their is a huge choice and in a price that will suit ur budget, Falken, Nitto, General, Bridgestone, Yoko's, BF's are all brands I've had fitted to customers vehicles with good results.

I run 265/75 goodyear duratraks and I love them. If my wheels were stolen tonight I would be straight to my goodyear shop for the same.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

My Maxxis have been great but I am driving a lifted current model Colorado with Duratracs on and they are excellent. Will go for those next time. Cheers
