    Or if you don't have the code,with the VIN number LR will eventually get the code for you,but sometimes it takes a while

    I had this problem once. Car was not recognising the key fob. I could unlock in manually by inserting the key but couldn't crank it without car thinking it was a burglary. Went back the next morning and was as if nothing had happened. Turned out it was auto doors to a shop causing interference the next morning shop was closed. Try and walk around the car unlocking as it might pick it up. Others have suggested pushing the car a hundred meters. May not be your issue but that's what I had.. Soon as I turned the key the alarm would go off no cranking. I disconnected the battery but the dam alarm wouldn't stop
