    Major brake overhaul

Well time to do my brakes, replacing the rotors got these from rapid Rs along with the pads, going to overhaul the calipers replacing the seals and Pistons along with the caliper slides.

I have gotten about 180 K out of current DBA rotors but they are stuffed now so time to get the brakes right again.

I had to replace the master cylinder a few weeks ago as it was by passing I suspect one of the little check valves inside the piston was leaking as the cups were in good knick.

After that project will do the suspension bushes next month as rear rubber bushes are knackered

Just replaced my front rotors and pad's, got them thru Burson's at trade so good price, DBA rotors and Bendix 4WD pad's, and flushed the fluid too, pretty blue Bendix fluid so easy to see the change. Pedal feels solid now.

    Oh bugger

Well finished the front but must have pinched a seal on left caliper, it was the hard side to put together for some reason both Pistons were hard to get into place so will have to chase up some seals.

Yes Pedro that would be right so putting this out there so others do not make same mistake and the first kit was not a brit part either.

they were $30 for the kit, the TWR kit was $40 and is the one to get and have seen some kits on ebay for a lot cheaper but stayed away from those.

Allmakes sources some of their parts from the same manufacturers of Britpart parts. TRW are now made in Taiwan, but in saying that they would have to meet TRW's standards.
