Ken, just do what some dealers do, pull out the light globe and say it's fixed. Happened to me from a Melbourne dealership, after I repeatedly when back with a check engine light coming on.

It seems like a bad contact somewhere on the warning lamp's(LED) earth path as it must get voltage from the SLABS on it to go out that's how it works except the case when it comes normally on by TC activity... make sure that the plug in the SLABS ECU is well connected, also you can measure for voltage in C0504 pin 13, insert a needle in it from behind with everything connected to measure on it with ignition on to rule out the SLABS, you should get 12V there for the lamp to go out, if you have it and the lamp is still on there is a possible problem in C0047-pin 17 or at the instrument pack's plug C0233-pin 4 white/blue wire all the way for connectors see RAVE -Electrical library-Connector views...if no voltage on that earth path the problem is within the SLABS
