    03 Disco TD5 - DTE, Instantaneous, Average Fuel

    Any way to get;

    • Distance to empty
    • Instantaneous usage
    • Average fuel usage
    • etc

    like on a more modern day vehicle? I cant see any support for this on the Nanocomm, and the little bit of a search I just did on here talks about scangauge' and junk that only work with the V8.

    Its by no means a necessity, but would be a nice little feature.
    Im sure it would be calculated using the parameters that the nanocomm monitors, but who the hell has time for that...

    The short answer is - no.

    The longer answer is - no, you can't. There is no ECU (that I am aware of) in the car to get these readings.

    Keeping in mind that there are a lot of calculations that need to be done, which is possible to do yourself, albeit a lot slower, and probably not on the fly.

    The Nanocom will measure most of the info needed, but doesn't have (I don't think) the capability to do the calculations, and present them to you.

    So, essentially, if the orange light comes on, next to the fuel gauge, add sufficient fuel until the light is extinguished, or the tank is full.
