    Windscreen wipers wth!

    Hey all,

So at supercheap auto yesterday i got the Tridon Flexblade TFB20h that was recommended as the "premium" wiper blade for the discovery 2. i dont understand how they are suppose to fix given i have the traditional metal backed blade.

I have taken it off and ive been looking at different ways of putting it on but cant get it on. Anyone else use this brand on their disco? any brackets or additional componenets needed to install it?

I cant find much online (didnt find a post this forum :s) about this so wanted to ask for help

Same here tried everything nothin else fits but the landrover wiper arms
You can go aftermarket wiper complete

Land Rover Discovery Series 2 Windscreen Wiper SET | eBay

    Or new Genuine

Then just replace blade as needed.

I here some have replaced D2 arms with D1 arms to fit universal ones

Best keep clip handy as they break easy

Garhhhh no not sorted at all haha they looked identical to my existing ones. They arent at all. Why do these manufacturer say that they work with discovery models when they dont at all. Looks like ill be buying the ones from ebay as they do actually look identical just with new rubber.

Wow what a pain!! I spoke too soon with my last post lol

Update: Purchased the set from ebay ill return the fake set from supercheap tomorrow

I just went to supercheap and bought a set of standard replacement blades only (narrow from memory) fitted no problem.

A few years ago when I first bought my Range Rover I put it in for a service. The wiper blades were replaced due to being worn.... $100 each.
They nearly had to call an undertaker as apparently I turned white while I stood at the counter. next time I managed to find some non-genuine that fitted.
