    EGR Removal

    Hello all
I have a 2001 TD5 Discovery II and was was wondering whether or not to remove/blank my EGR?
The car has 296,000 kms on it with Full Service history.
My concern have I missed the boat? Should I do it given the mileage on the car, does the mileage make any difference?
I am concerned the car will run hotter and that might not be too good for an engine with these sort of kms?
If your advice is to proceed can anyone recommend the best kits, links etc would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Mine has about 282,000 kms, It's on my to do list, as for running hotter? Why would it?
I could be wrong and watch this space if I am.
The EGR opens when the car is cruising and is closed when under acceleration.
Which of these produces more heat?
