Just for clarity, what is meant by "dual air"? Mine is/was a 7 seater but I don't think there's anything unusual about the air, other than its climate control for both sides.

in the rear left side there is another evaporator and fan setup that the refriderent goes thru and is operated by switches on the roof in the rear

I have had the suspension upgraded to shock absorbers with lift kit i.e sls removed. I removed the suspension air compressor and found that a yellow top otpima battery fits nicely using the existing bracket mounts with a bit of fabrication of some mounting supports. I used a aluminum floor panel off a series landy folded as a protective guard.

I mounted a redac 100amp isolater in the jack housing box. Only vehicle i know with jack stored in engine bay!!!!

I didnt like the idea of battery mounted in engine bay next to exhaust and turbo = battery killer.

Did have larger battery original in rear compartment but that space has stainless steel water tank with water pump in it now for drinking water. Keeps cool and 1000 x bettter than plastic.

Obviously youve never had the privilege of owning a Lada Niva then!
They have the Jack in the engine bay, and the spare tyre as well!

The Jack under the bonnet is actually not a bad idea. I like it.

    would've be a great idea,,
    if they'd mounted it upright.
now its just another leak source.
    and worse, another maintenance issue.
