Yeah, but just think, you almost get to have your own personal car.

I had similar with my D2 - ended up with a replaced engine, and
I've spent about twice what you have on fixing the wiring on my RRC/TD5, and it is still not quite on the road. There goes my superannuation and I'll be working until 90.
Who said being owned by a Land Rover (or two) is an obsession.
D4 MY16 TDV6 - Cambo towing magic, Traxide Batteries, X Lifter, GAP ID Tool, Snorkel, Mitch Hitch, Clearview Mirrors, F&R Dashcams, CB
RRC MY95 LSE Vogue Softdash "Bessie" with MY99 TD5 and 4HP24 transplants
SADLY SOLD MY04 D2a TD5 auto and MY10 D4 2.7 both with lots of goodies

Just spoke to the mate, it was not so much roger he knew, as the nutter who is now in prison with dementia. Neddy Smith. The mate was in the pub with Warren Lanfranchi, when Lanfranchi got the message Roger needed to speak to him up the road. Roger shot him. No loss, Lanfranchi was a grub. The word is, Smith killed Sally -Anne Huckstep , and shot Michael Drury, probably the only honest cop in NSW at that time. The mate said if Roger goes to the prison hospital, for any reason, Smith will get his revenge.
