Fuel pump relay maybe?
Sent from my HTC One using AULRO mobile app
Having an issue with my Disco 2a Td5 ATM.
For some reason while driving I lose all power and it seems like the engine isn't getting fuel.
After it dies I try starting again but it just cranks and does not start until after a few minutes were it eventually starts and takes off like nothing is wrong.
Not all the time but sometimes it comes up with a fault code on the Nanocom of
"10,2 Fuel pump drive open load"
I have changed the Fuel Pump thinking this was the obvious solution, but it has not changed anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We will get it on the hoist tomorrow and check the Fuel lines to see if their are any kinks, flat spots etc.
I had a very similar issue on a different make, and it was a wire on the Crank Angle Sensor that would short out at random times. Took a while to find but had very much the same things as you describe.
Cheers Ean
As above plus check for oil in the loom and wiring to pump ( was it a vdo pump and can you hear it working when the engine won't run?
Injector seals. Do them next.

Is there any diesel on the rear window or on the back of the car? There is a fuel line that wears though, the green one. Perhaps yours has worn though and this is causing you fuel pressure issues?
The line is on top of the of the tank but is not accessible unless the tank is removed.
I wouldn't remove it unless there is evidence of leaking fuel under the car or on the back door or window.
