Plugging in Nanocom killed radio, clock and scanner port

    Hi,
I am looking for some help with a problem that has occurred. This morning whilst my td5 was running I plugged in my Nanocom and instead of the Nanocom booting up it killed my radio and clock. It has also affected the Nanocom as it will not boot up and my air conditioning needs to be turned on each time I start the car. Also, although the clock doesn't work the clock light will come on if I turn on the lights.
I have checked the fuses for the radio and they are fine.
Has anyone had this issue previously and is it likely an issue with ground or the positive.
I should mention that we have had a far amount of rain over the last few days.
    Thanks in advance.
    Simon .

If you connected the Nanocom lead to the OBDII port before connecting the lead to the Nanocom then this could be the cause of your problems and has possibly damaged the Nanocom. If this is the case then I think you'll need to return the Nanocom to BBS for rectification.
    Good luck.

The Nanocom still works when I plug it into a USB for power so I'm assuming that the reason it is not working on the ODB2 is because I have somehow lost power or earth to ODB2, radio and clock. Quite confusing.

There's probably a fuse for all that. Interior lights working?

Plug the lead into the Nanocom FIRST then plug into the OBD port ... BBS advise doing it the other way round will likely blow fuse &/or damage the Nanocom.
