    Experiment with a ''pseudocharger''

Hi all, i'm up to do an experiment on my car with something like this BLACK 3" Electric Turbocharger/Supercharger Cold Air Intake Generator | eBay fitted between the intake and the air box(i'm sure i can find place for it without it's filter near the box)... what's your oppinions, would it be wasted money?

Looks like bollocks to me, save your money and invest it in a VNT or hybrid turbo. Or twin turbo it

    Subscribing to this thread!

Unit only draws 3Amps, i would be surpsied if it made any noticable power gains.

Would be intersted to see first hand results tho!

I just want to help the ''suction'' at low revs a bit not to gain extra boost.... that 3A draw is suspect to me too though

I doubt it could provide more than a placebo effect.
That little electric motor would be unlikely to provide either power or RPM required to provide the claimed gain at idle air requirements let alone above idle.
    But thats just my opinion.

Has the oil cooler thermostat arrived?

Watch the video I posted. Power actually goes ***down*** when you fit one.

You could always bring it in to the cab and blow dry your hair, or pump up an air mattress , you already have a turbo , if you want more power get a more efficient one as mentioned, even if it did work ( which is doubtful) you would go beyond AFM parameters putting you back to default values , and as you know IAT is measured at the map , notice the place selling it is home decor , and the dyno readout is a ford zetec N/A, wonder how much airflow that has compared to a td5

That video, irrefutably tells me, the cheapest way to get more power out of a Charade motor, is to put another strap on.
