Mate you are a gentleman. Thank you
Righty Ho Lads,
Apologies for the delay as I was trying to get the drawers system below finished for an upcoming tripand also to Slunnie for hijacking this thread, but I'm assuming it has helped somewhat.

To find the mounts place a 12 inch ruler vertically down from the wee plastic trim clips as shown in the pics, about 270mm down is where the mounts are.
The rear one is about 5mm offset from the clip......

The front one lines up with the trim clip.....

Hope that helps and good luck with the project, if you need anymore help flick me a PM.....
Cheers Dave
Fantastic, thanks Dave! Do you recall by any chance the bolt size?
I think 10mm,, but its been a while Slunnie;)
From memory I'm thinking it was a M8 x1.25 x 30mm ( Although I guessing you go a 40mm?) Grade 8.8 HT....Countersunk as I needed the head to sit flush against inner edge of the battery tray......
Something like this one below .....

I made some wee tabs like this to weld up to the tray and align with the mounts...

It all relatively easy to make a rear tray, even with rudimentary welding skills, a steel one could be knocked up in a day. I made mine in aluminium because I had access to an AC Tig at the time and because I like to be flash lol
Cheers Dave
Fantastic, thanks again!
That's awesome Dave. Thanks mate. Cheers
Excellent fabrication....
Your opinion on 17kg vibrating against only 2 mounts for 100s of kilometres? Have you done this yet?
