It's normal on EU3 motors.

I don'tt have that gr gr gr I stick the gearbox into neutral and coast or it goes into third or second and slow the car down via the clutch and then drop the gear again.

FWIW I have a Td5Inside EU3 remap that has been adapted by Jose to EU2.
A proper EU2 map is dead silent but as soon as the EU3 map is loaded "grrr grrr grrr grrr" when slow to a stop.

The consensus when I first asked Jose and forum was "Its normal for EU3 maps..."

I work in Williamstown, so if you'd like me to come and give you a demo some time let me know.

Quite possibly.

I'd note that it's also referred to as "cat purr" and it has something of the quality of a very contented moggy

Thanks for the info. Being it's not a constant thing & it returned to a smooth idle at stop I was concerned (that and I've had a dead MAF so clouds of black smoke and now I've got a good MAF I've got no lowdown power. I'm chasing one issues after the other. Lol) Good to know this is not something else I have to deal with.
