Is this the one with the LPG you fitted? If so, try pulling the vacuum hose off the LPG converter and see if the converter is leaking LPG down that hose. OMVL converters are well known for that. Grotty injectors will do it too.

last night i plugged that hose and took it for a run. no difference. thanks though.

Where you used RTV instead of a gasket a good way to check for leaks.Get a can of WD40,RP7,Start you bastard etc(anything hydrocarbon based).Use the squirty tube provided and spray around the gasket with the engine warm and running.If that gasket,or any others for that matter are leaking the revs will change when the engine gets a sniff of the spray.That is where your problem should be.Worth checking all gaskets on the intake this way.

I tried this tonight with some "start ya bastard".I could get the engine rpm to budge. never the less i feel that the only way to totally rule out vacuum leaks is to replace the gasket that i "bodged" and also go one step further and replace all the manifold-injector o rings, these are on order.
