Hi all I put new shocks in the rear of my disco2 after a clunk developed in the rear shocks the old shocks were extremely shot so new ones needed I took the car for a drive clunk still there. So my question is what bushes are best for rebushing the watts linkage Land rover, OME or poly bushes any help would be very helpful thanks.

Check your rear sway bar links if you haven't already. I too had the clunk sound but found it to be the ball joint in the link had completely worn.

Avoid the poly bushes for the watts linkage - particularly the orange UK brand.
I'd suggest OEM or genuine.
I solved my issue by getting a second hand watts link from the wreckers. I will obviously need to replace the bushes eventually. But this give me time to save the $300 to $400 for 3 genuine bushes.
I am about to fix mine also. I was going to buy genuine as I had read about Britparts ones failing and the orange two piece poly ones being bad.
But my brother can get one piece superpro ones for a good price through work so I decided Ill give them a shot. Ill probably fit them later in the week and see how they go.
There's also a bit of rear frame that can come adrift and cause a clunking noise. There's a Tech Bulletin about it, number 044.
To get info on the Tech Bulletins, I went to the Land Rover TOPix site.

IIRC I paid a fee for a day or a few days, input my VIN and then downloaded everything related to my vehicle, checked the recalls, etc and then let it expire.
The TB's I'm referring to are 44 and 86. Have a read and see what if they sound like what you're experiencing.
cheers,
