Thanks for all the advice really appreciated.
Now that I know I have this diff lick option is there a kit available to bring it inside the car so it's operable without going under the car?
    Thanks again

I don't think your tongue would be strong enough to lick the diff.

There are a few options for linkages to lick the diff starting with the factory linkage which because it only came on D2A is as rare and expensive as diamonds.
There is an electric one sold by AMV and there are options that include a pull up lever in the cabin which are advertised on ebay. There is someone in UK who used to modify the non Diff lick linkage , who I think is the bloke who runs the D2 site.

Look for people wrecking D2As first and see if they don't know the value.

I bought mine from a wrecker in Melbourne for $450 which included an extra auto selector and the holy grail (hallelujah) of the actual sticker showing the proper operation and freight . I recently saw one on ebay or someone on AULRO reported it, for near 1K.

    Regards Philip A

The so called electric ones are just a modified windscreen wiper motor that's all, they fail after they get dumped in water and gunk, best to avoid, and get a mechanical system.

I know member Jason789 made up one from some socket extension bars and unis and put a discreet dial knob on his centre console, it is neat and works. It's cost effective. Pm him he might be able to put up pics.
    Cheers, Mario

Thanks for that I'll look at doing that on the next day or so.
Again this will probably seem like a silly question but which way to turn it? Will it go either way ie lock front or back so looking at the spigot from th he engine looking to the back I would assume I turn it/ push out towards the back rather than pull too front?
Hope this makes sense sorry not any experience with these!
Your right my tongue is not that strong and my head is too big! Or is that my tongue not long enough!
