    Steering pulling

Recently the car started pulling to the right about 3 weeks back and was about to get new(ish) Cooper AT's fitted to the rear so waited till I went to do this and got the alignment done, when it was road tested the guy said weird, it seems to be pulling to the right, I saw him do the adjustments and was spot on.

I swapped the fronts round to check, but still occurring. The car also seems harder to turn to the right as opposed to the left.

In between all this I was adjusting the steering box, but if anything have left it with more play at present as want to make sure this had no effect on it.

Any ideas what could be the culprit Or how I go about getting fixed ?

Well I solved my own problem, I had previously taken steering wheel off ages ago as it was never quite straight since I got the car 3 years ago. I then moved it the other way after getting the wheels aligned but went too far.

I came across a comment today that you never do this on Discovery's. So I took off tonight and eventually realised there is only one way of putting it on and I had somehow done it wrong last time.

Got it on properly and went for drive, wheel in middle, no pulling and wheel feels 'right' again. Delighted as I was conceding defeat and contacted a LR specialist today as was fed up and they said bring it in. Live and learn.....

    Good to see, mate.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
