that measurement you give is fine, it is the wheel set back and is as meant to be. The problem steering your car off road will be something else.
cheers.

Has anyone experienced a bent chassis or a bent axle housing on a Disco 2?
It appears evident the alignment of my rear axle is not flash and it is steering my car off the road. The front end is mint, 2 degrees toe out.
When measuring the difference between the centre of the each wheel on the left then comparing it to the right, there is 4mm difference. This is over a distance 2035mm.
So this is a real issue for me and I need it sorted. I either need a miracle and someone know exactly where the Disco chassis bends or somewhere to take my disco in South East Melbourne.
By the way, I've changed the rear radius arm bushes. I'm hoping it is just a rear axle housing. If someone has one lying around please let me know.

 AT REST

AT RESTJazzman, Rave has the chassis spacing dimensions, in a section as in attached pic if you want to check your chassis. I will give you mounting point measurements, by checking these you may be able to determine if chassis is bent.
Cheers, Mario

To bend a chassis or diff housing what have you been doing , It would really have to been something very drastic to to do either.

The rear axle is 30 degrees out of true. The rear left and rear right are skewed to the right. I have to turn the steering wheel right to compensate and not run off the road,it is not much to compensate but has lead to front tire wear.
Before people ask the front alignment is right, 2mm toe out - not 2 degrees as mentioned in my original post by mistake.

Me too mate, without it a Land Rover would fail instantly. I was doing a lot of flexing and wheel lifting in Tassie perhaps I've bent the trailing arm mounts. I figured i'd remember a bang large enough to bend a diff housing. I don't know what it was, I just need it fixed.
Mechanical Sympathy.
Perhaps Mario should sell tojo parts too.
