I wonder if these pads would be a good upgrade in my D1 also. Has Defo 110/130 vented fronts fitted (Bendix HD pads, DBA slotted rotors) which are an improvement over the smaller piston solid standard items but you still need to lift your bum off the seat and pull the steering wheel off to get the thing to stop in any sort of hurry... especially when cool. So cold bite and overall consistency would be my main factors. Zero care about dust...

I've been using EBC for over 10 years. Excellent pads. My brother used to get them from a supplier for his 4wd shop. I will ask him.
    Cheers

Plain old directional straight slotted DBAs on the Disco. They are ancient now.
T2s waiting to go on the Rangie.
Maybe Santa will bring me a day off to get to some of these jobs...

T2's here, these have straight slotted ventilation inside the rotor. I'm not sure you really want 4000 series for offroading because of mud clearing from the kangaroo paw ventilation - that said, I have never run them either.

I run these Delios rotors and no issue with mud clearing or any clogging for that

Soory, I mean the ventilation vanes of the rotor, not the slots.

I think the 4000 series T3's have Kangaroo Paw ventilation rather than straight vanes that the T2 has.

I thought that pretty much all DBAs were kangaroo paw? Certainly my old Disco ones and the new set of T2s for the Rangie Sport are kangaroo paw. Not had any issues with mug clogging or otherwise myself.

Just fitted a set of DBA slotted rotors and bendix pads all round to a members D2a, felt initially good to me, I'm sure he will pop in with his verdict soon! (Gav woohoo???)
