I've noticed some cracking around the fixing points of my current ones. Not bad enough to need immediate replacing but for the right price I'd put some money down to put them on the shelf for now.

I feel it's probably a good idea to get a set now as some parts just disappear in terms of availability (for example duel battery tray from overland)

Rangie man I am interested in A Pillar covers and Cowling under windscreen. They should be able to provide the A Pillars with new trim clips. Cheers

Having done some fiberglass work myself, making a plug, the mold from plug and then making the part, putting the clip holder is going to make it a bit more difficult, you would have to make another plug and mold then make the part and then laminate the 2 parts together.

I did look at them last year when the panel under the wipers cracked on my D2. At the end of the day I went genuine as I was not convinced of the long durability of the fixing methods and that the wiper panel was sealed with no air inlets for the HVAC.

    cheers

Rangie man if there are no intakes for HVAC then they wouldn't be my cup of tea. Likewise if A Pillar trims did not have clips. Cheers

My plastic bits never warped, they just became brittle and cracked.

    Cheers
