D2a is Polly![]()
My 2004 D2 has polly lenses that need to be polished every now and then with lens polish when they get a bit "Cloudy" a real PIA.
Thanks fella's.
Just working out what bulbs, etc to go with when I pick up the new vehicle soon.
It doesn't have spotties and I'll be driving it around some fairly remote areas for three weeks before heading home.
H7 for the headlights on a D2a.
Ta, I should've mentioned it's an '02, pre update.
I put a set of these in both the high and low beam lenses and they do make quite a difference over the conventional globes.I run H4 60/55W Narva Intense Maximum Legal Blue which are great for country driving.

There are LED globes available that I imagine would be an even better option over the H4 units.
I have bought a couple of 9inch LED spotties at 370w each and a 420w lightbar to fit to my ARB winchbar (when it finally gets here) so I won't be bothering with the LED upgrade for the LED headlights.
Currently I have the H4 globes and a small 120w lightbar and the lighting is pretty good.
Thanks fellas.
I'm sticking with halogen, I'm not an LED fan, (nor blue tint) and from what I've read the LED doesn't align well with the reflector of an old school H4 lamp.
I'm used to 7" Cibie Z beams with 100/90w globes in the Deefer, but have experience with +60 60/55 H4 globes in the ex's Patrol.
They helped a lot over stock as early GU's dispersed the beam far too much.
