Thread: removing plenum and rocker covers

The first 2 and the last 2 "Ports" on the block are for water and the inner 8 ports are to supply air to each of the cylinder's, That's why they are that colour

Only one each side is used as the heads are the same, just reversed each side.

The engine looks neglected due to the colour of the rust in the waterways, although it did have oil changes every now and then. You wonder where the rust comes from seeing there is hardly any steel in the system.

Aah, good old Adelaide tap water, puts a thick coating of red mud on everything it touches.
