    Changing transmission oil help

I got started to do a transmission oil change today, shot into town and got my oil and a new t55 for the plug on side of the case, then the fun started , it seems the drive shaft is in the road and no way can i get a breaker bar into undo the plug , the T55 is an sp 1/2inch drive ,can any one shed any light on this , and i thought tractors on the farm were a B to work on, discovery's are a whole new world of terrible designs to work on

And if you think the starter motor is bad in a TD5, you should see it in a Puma!

My dad called it "The joys of motoring"

He hated some of the designs faults with a passion.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

I'm convinced that they fully assemble the engines, put them in & sell them. Later when the mechanic services it Land Rover goes 'our bad sorry'
