Thread: Rear rear seats

My disco 2 is a seven seater, and have for the first time needed to use the rear seats, thy fold down ok and lock into position, but on one i cant lift the back rest its still locked into position, have used some wd40 on all moving parts, the only thing i can see is missing is the leaver on the side that releases the back when you want to fold it back, any advice would be great , and if i need a new leaver where would i buy one

The back won't come up until the base is locked in position. First thing to check is that there isn't a false lock and ensure that the base is definitely locked into the boot floor position. If that's all good then probably some mechanical issue where it's not releasing the lock for the back.
